August 14, 2008, ChinaCSR.com – Johnson & Johnson and the Chinese Ministry of Health announced in Beijing that its psychological rehabilitation assistance project for children in earthquake-stricken areas in China has officially started.

The project is reported to be working at ten sites on mental health education, psychological counseling, and psychological crisis intervention and treatment, especially for children. According to JNJ, this project will be implemented in four stages in Sichuan and Shaanxi with cooperation from the Ministry of Health and Sichuan University Huaxi Hospital, and is expected to conclude in May 2010.

JNJ has also started its corporate social responsibility platform –Johnson & Johnson Health Care Project which is said to greatly help integrate the CSR programs of JNJ’s China subsidiaries.
